2024 UPDATE: We have had feedback that applications for this fund are very competitive and they are looking for people with a current or hoped for role in agriculture. Further, the funders are not considering community gardening as a part of agriculture.
WILD THINGS 2 UPDATE: for students that have completed the first year of Wild Things, the funding outlined in our newsletter below is also open to our second year course too. Just search for Wild Things on the SkillsHubScotland site. Please note that completing Wild Things 1 is a prerequisite for our Wild Things 2 course and students with successful funding to attend Wild Things 2 who have not completed Wild Things 1 will be asked to transfer their funding to Wild Things 1 and will not be accepted on to Wild Things 2.
We’re delighted to announce that we have been approved as a training provider for both the Next Generation Practical Training Fund and the Women in Agriculture Practical Training Fund. Please see our November newsletter below for more information on applying for these funds, please note that we do not administer the funds and have no additional information on applications and eligibility. Also, do sign up for our newsletter to be the first to know about developments with Grass Roots Remedies Co-operative.
