Information about Each Product:
Period Support Blend –
This blend for period and other spasmodic pain combines muscle relaxing & antispasmodic Crampbark (Viburnum opulus) & Valerian (Valeriana officinalis) with warming circulatory Ginger (Zingiber officinale) extracted into a mixture of water & organic rye ethanol. The result is a powerful mix that helps ease cramps & heaviness during periods, and equally can benefit other situations where tension & spasm is amplifying pain anywhere in the body. Comes in a 100ml bottle.
Take 1-2 dropperfuls and repeat half hourly as needed up to 5 times a day.
Most of our products are made using only herbs which can be grown or foraged in Scotland, this one also includes Ginger as a really effective warming & pain relieving medicine that can easily be bought in shops or grown on a windowsill.
Nourish Tea –
Our Nourish tea is ideal for those of us needing rich, nutritious whole body support to build up our resilience & strength whether we are under a lot of stress, recovering from being unwell, pregnant or postpartum, or just for getting through the days in this overwhelming late capitalist existence! The blend is made up of balancing Peppermint (Mentha x piperita) strengthening Nettle leaf (Urtica dioica) and cleansing Cleavers (Galium aparine). Comes in a 50g bag. This loose leaf tea requires a strainer or self-fillable tea bag. Directions for use Place 1 teaspoon in a cup or 3 teaspoons into a teapot. Pour over boiling water and allow to brew for 5-10 minutes, strain and enjoy.
Calm Tea –
Let our calm tea connect you to a sense of stillness, whilst keeping you alert and able to get on with your day. Our soothing blend is made up of Oat straw (Avena sativa), Hawthorn flowering tops (Crataegus spp) and Rose (Rosa spp). Comes in a 50g bag. This loose leaf tea requires a strainer or self-fillable tea bag. Directions for use: Place 1 teaspoon in a cup or 3 teaspoons into a teapot. Pour over boiling water and allow to brew for 5-10 minutes, strain and enjoy.

Calm Tea – Hawthorn may enhance the activity of cardio active medicines like blood thinners, beta blockers or other hypotensive drugs. Oatstraw is not a gluten containing ingredient, however people with a very high sensitivity to gluten may wish to be cautious.

This product is part of a series of blends created specifically to raise funds to support our Wester Hailes Community Herbal Clinic. All of the profits from this sale go directly to providing herbal support to people on low incomes.
Our products are made using only herbs which can be grown or foraged in Scotland, and are made from a combination of locally grown, foraged and bought herbs. They are as organically sourced as possible. We are working towards growing, harvesting, processing, preparing and packing many of them on our herb farm in Lauriston or in Wester Hailes to create medicine made by the people, with the profits going back to the people.
Dispatch Times & Postage:
Postage is to the UK only, and is free for orders over £50. When products are in stock, we dispatch once a week. If you have backordered something we’ll be in touch to let you know how long it will take to restock.
