We are very pleased to have been working with Edinburgh designer Mary Hutchison to create some new Growers Guides – simple instructions to aid you in cultivating your own medicinal herbs.
We are passionate about the sustainability of herbal medicine, and so growing your own own or buying from cultivated sources when there is an ecological risk to that plant from wild harvesting is a really great way to support those plant species.
Two of these – Echinacea and Black Cohosh – are both at risk in the wild from over-harvesting so they are brilliant and beautiful examples of plants to grow yourself!
